Terms of Sale 

1. Placing an Order

By placing an order with us—whether online, in person, by phone, text, WhatsApp, email, or any other method—you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

You agree not to use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose and not to violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright laws.
You must not transmit any malicious code, including viruses or destructive scripts.

Any breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your services.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.


2. Courier Orders

  • Orders for items marked “In Stock”, placed online, by email, or by phone before 12:00, will be dispatched the same working day.
  • Orders received after 12:00 will be dispatched the following working day.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 on Fridays will be processed on Monday.
  • No orders are processed, dispatched, or delivered on weekends or bank holidays.

Delivery Times:
UK Mainland orders placed before 12:00 typically arrive next working day.
A signature is required between 08:00 and 20:00.


3. Local Van Delivery

Cut-off Times

  • Phone orders: by 16:15 the day before your delivery date
  • Email or online orders: by 12:00 the day before

Orders placed after the cut-off will be delivered on the next scheduled Local Van Delivery day for your area.

4. Safe Place Requests

  • Provide instructions in writing:
    • Online orders: add notes at checkout
    • Email orders: include instructions within your order email
  • The courier has final discretion on whether it is safe to leave a parcel.
  • Parcels left in a safe place are at the customer’s own risk; no claims can be made for loss or damage.

5. Delivery Charges

  • Free UK Mainland delivery on online orders over £50 (ex. VAT)
  • Free Isle of Wight delivery on online orders over £100 (ex. VAT) (approx. 2 working days)
  • Free local van delivery on sundry orders over £35 (ex. VAT) (excluding spare parts & consumables)

All other deliveries are charged at current rates.


6. Special Shipments

Palletised orders (subject to weight) are delivered via a 2–3-day service.


7. Receiving Your Order

Although we aim for timely delivery, delays may occur due to operational issues, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Courier Deliveries

  • Delivery is between 08:00–20:00.
  • If you miss a delivery, you must contact the courier using the details provided.
  • Failure to rearrange delivery may result in return-to-sender and or re-delivery charges.

Local Van Deliveries

  • Deliveries may occur between 06:00–18:00.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery due to circumstances such as breakdowns, staff illness, or severe weather.

Damages & Missing Items

  • Shortages must be reported within 24 hours.
  • Damaged goods must also be reported within 24 hours and signed accordingly on the delivery note.
  • Used or installed goods cannot be replaced or credited.
  • To submit a claim for damages or missing items, please follow this link to complete the damaged goods claim form.

Pallet deliveries are kerbside only.


8. Prices & VAT

  • Online prices and promotions apply only to online orders.
  • Prices may change without notice.
  • VAT is charged at the rate applicable on the invoice date.

9. Payment

We accept:

  • PayPal
  • Cheque (payable to Parkers Food Machinery Plus Ltd)
  • BACS
  • Most major debit/credit cards

Orders are dispatched only after full payment unless an approved credit account is in place.

Customers with approved credit accounts that have overdue credit balances may have orders delayed or payments redirected to clear outstanding amounts.

Goods remain the property of Parkers Food Machinery Plus Ltd until paid for in full.


10. Returns

  • Standard stocked items may be returned within 7 days, at the customer’s expense.
  • Refunds are issued as credit against future purchases.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Non-standard items are refundable at management’s discretion.

11. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled until 12:00 on the day of shipping.
  • After dispatch, goods must be returned at the customer’s expense.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Back-order or special order items cannot be cancelled.

12. Warranty

Online Purchases

  • New machinery: 12-month return-to-base parts-only warranty
  • Pre-owned machinery: 3-month return-to-base parts-only warranty
    (Excludes labour, postage, consumables, misuse, and wear.)

Customers are responsible for the return delivery after repairs.

Phone / In-Person / Email Purchases

For customers in West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, and Berkshire:

  • New machinery: 12-On-Site parts & Labour. warranty
  • Pre-owned machinery: 3-month On-Site parts & Labour warranty.
    (Excludes consumables, misuse, and wear.)

B2B Supply and Applicable Legislation
Parkers Food Machinery Plus supplies equipment exclusively to commercial operators within the food industry. All products are sold strictly on a Business‑to‑Business (B2B) basis. As such, all transactions are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and related commercial legislation. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply, as the goods are not intended, designed, or marketed for private or domestic use.

Repairs and Replacements
In the unlikely event that an item develops a fault, Parkers Food Machinery Plus reserves the right to repair the item rather than replace it, in accordance with standard commercial warranty practices.


13. Product Images & Descriptions

Colours may vary depending on screen/device.
We aim for accuracy but do not guarantee product descriptions or images are error-free.
If a product is not as described, it may be returned unused.


14. Allergen Information

We cannot guarantee products are free from:

  • Nuts / peanuts
  • Milk or dairy
  • Gluten
  • Sesame
  • Other allergens

Cross-contact may occur during transit or handling by couriers.


15. Stock Availability

We update stock levels hourly, but errors may occur.
If an item under £35 becomes unavailable for courier delivery, a refund will be issued automatically.
Lead times on back-order items are estimates only and may vary.

We are not liable for any loss of trade resulting from delayed or unavailable products.


16. Consequential Loss

Parker’s Food Machinery Plus Ltd accepts no liability for:

  • Loss of use
  • Loss of product
  • Loss of trade or profit
  • Any consequential loss of any kind

17. Loyalty Membership

  • Free to join after at least one purchase in the last 12 months.
  • Customers spending £500 in the last financial quarter are automatically enrolled.
  • Membership requires a valid email.
  • Points issue quarterly:
    • £1 spent = 1 point
    • 1 point = 1p
  • Minimum 500 points required to redeem.
  • Points expire after 15 months.
  • Not available to wholesalers or resellers.

18. Brand Availability

Certain brands, including but not limited to Victorinox, Swibo, Talsa, KT, Blue Seal, Thompson, Avery Berkel, and CAS, may not be displayed on our website. Notwithstanding their absence, these products may still be available for purchase, and we are often able to supply them at competitive prices. 19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
